Carrie Van Wert is the Founder + Chief Navigator at NorthStar Pet. She brings experience from previous roles, Founder/CEO at Pressworks and Kitty Sift and volunteering at the Animal Humane Society.
After selling Kitty Sift, a healthy alternative to the plastic litter box, Carrie knew there was more to do to help enrich the lives of cats. Together with her two cats, Luke and Lady, and family, she loves to develop innovative products that make a difference in the quality of life for cats.
Carrie Van Wert holds a BBA in Business (Marketing) from the University of Iowa. She offers a robust skill set that includes New Business Development, Team Building, Marketing Strategy, Sales, Business Development, and more.
